Project Assistant and PA

The Role:

An established and well-known architecture studio is looking for a Project Assistant and PA to join them at their studio in north London. They are renowned for their successful contribution to a diverse range of projects, including residential, educational, cultural, and urban developments.

As the Project Assistant and PA, you will display your meticulous and personable touch to the established team and play a vital part in supporting project teams and studios, staying attuned to studio activities. Your excellent communication skills will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of projects, while also adhering to Practice protocols. You will also be providing essential PA support for Studio Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide PA support to 2 Directors
  • Create documents using InDesign and Photoshop, including information gathering and layout
  • Manage drawing protocols and logging incoming documents
  • Working closely with project teams by updating and maintaining project records
  • Coordinate meetings, room bookings, and travel arrangements
  • General typing, minute-taking, and filing
  • Research support for project teams
  • Diary and email management
  • Organise internal and external meetings, studio events, and managing the studio environment
  • Reception coverage and ad hoc duties

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in InDesign and Photoshop with advanced graphic expertise
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Keen design eye with meticulous attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Confident telephone etiquette and excellent written and spoken English
  • Maintains a calm and professional demeanour in all internal and external communications
  • Works effectively in team environments
  • Confident meeting demanding deadlines
