Project Manager
About The Role:
The Crowd are partnered with a highly regarded, Philadelphia-based residential development and interiors studio who are seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to work across architecture, design and development, overseeing a curated portfolio of complex projects across the US.
Working closely with the Project Director across a diverse portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality and ground-up development projects. You will be the central integrator, across the internal teams and external consultants and partners. The role requires a balance of combining project leadership and project execution skills, ensuring the design intent is maintained, while remaining on track with regard to budget, schedule and execution quality.
As the firm’s hospitality portfolio continues to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Project Manager, who thrives in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This is a full-time, on-site role where you’ll own projects end-to-end, from initial feasibility and design development through construction and final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-end residential and hospitality projects from pre-development through construction and closeout, acting as the primary point of coordination between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Manage project budgets, schedules and cost controls, ensuring projects remain aligned with scope, timeline, and overall design intent
- Oversee consultant and contractor coordination across all project phases, acting as the primary point of contact
- Coordinate zoning, permitting, and inspection processes with consultants, general contractors, and local municipalities, maintaining oversight of approvals, conditions, and compliance requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality, coordination, constructability, and alignment with approved budgets and schedules
- Lead Construction Administration activities, including weekly project meetings, meeting minutes, regular site visits, RFI’s, punch lists and turnover documentation
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in real estate development or owner’s representative project management, delivering projects, including residential, complex renovations, adaptive reuse, hospitality or commercial
- Strong understanding of construction methods and able to understand drawings, specifications, and delivery processes
- Familiarity with local permitting, zoning and construction practices in the Greater Philadelphia region
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and consultant/contractor relationships
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working in fast-paced, design-driven environments
- Proficiency in Scheduling Software (Microsoft Project or Project 365) and Microsoft or Google Suite
