Project Manager
About the Role:
We are representing a Los Angeles-based architecture studio known for its progressive residential and urban housing work. With a strong focus on contemporary design, sustainability, and community impact, this firm’s portfolio includes everything from hillside single-family homes to innovative small-lot and multifamily developments that respond to the unique fabric of LA.
As the studio expands its residential team, they are seeking a Project Manager who can confidently lead projects from early design through construction administration, balancing design integrity with strong technical and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-end single-family and small-scale multifamily housing projects across all phases
- Coordinate with consultants, city agencies, and clients to move projects forward smoothly
- Lead the development of drawing sets and documentation using Revit
- Ensure design intent is translated clearly and built with precision
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and internal team workflows
- Represent the studio in client meetings and, when needed, on-site during construction
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Proven experience managing residential architecture projects from concept to completion
- A portfolio that reflects strong design thinking and well-executed built work
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization tools preferred
- Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, and consultant coordination in California
- Excellent communication skills and a client-forward approach
- Ability to navigate urban constraints while preserving architectural intent
- A grounded, team-oriented mindset with a proactive problem-solving attitude
