Project Manager

The Role:

A leading, prestigious architecture studio who are known for their notable projects around the world are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time and to budget. The role will work closely with the Project and Contract Teams and senior directors providing project updates and reports. The ideal candidate will be from an architectural background and will have experience with resource management, programming, fee negotiation and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and to budget.
  • Work closely with the Project Leaders or Project Architects to outline objectives and create detailed design programmes.
  • Provide real-time project update reports and KPIs
  • Ensure project data in the project management system is accurate and up to date
  • Work closely with the finance team on invoice, forecasting & budget management.
  • Review estimates and fee proposals; oversee and assist in resolving all queries regarding appointments & contract administration.
  • Monitor and coordinate with project teams and consultants to ensure the project stays on track; identify any flag risks to project delivery.
  • Drive forward the delivery in line with the project brief, contractual framework, and resource plan.
  • Develop project management processes.

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience in,  and a strong understanding of architecture and the construction industry.
  • Proactive with good organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills – liaising with teams both internal & external.
  • Experience in supporting a team in a multi-project environment.
  • IT literate with proficiency in Excel.
  • Previous experience using project management tools (ideally CMAP).
  • Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
