Project Manager (Architecture)

They are seeking a Project Manager to join their friendly and highly regarded Manhattan-based team.
Known for their thoughtful and progressive approach to architecture, the practice delivers award-winning work across a diverse range of sectors, with a particular focus on adaptive reuse, affordable housing, sustainability, decarbonization, and community-driven urban design.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with strong experience delivering sustainable, mixed-use, adaptive reuse and affordable housing projects who is looking to join an influential and values-led design practice. You will play a key role in leading projects from feasibility through to Construction Administration, while mentoring junior team members, coordinating consultants, and helping to drive projects forward across all stages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of projects across all phases, from early feasibility through construction administration
- Be the primary contact for clients, consulting teams, and contractors, working in close collaboration with firm principals
- Uphold design intent throughout delivery, managing document revisions and post-approval amendments as required
- Oversee Construction Administration, including site visits, RFI and submittal reviews, and assessment of existing conditions as they are uncovered
- Lead and support junior staff, maintaining high standards of coordination and project quality across the team
Key Skills / Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, with substantial work on the renovation and rehabilitation of existing buildings
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Professional degree in Architecture and US licensure preferred
- Solid working knowledge of NYC Building Codes, Zoning Resolution, and applicable regulations
- A genuine interest in sustainable design and affordable housing projects
