Project Manager / Interior Architect (Contract)

About The Role:

We’re working with a design-led, boutique architecture and interiors studio in Manhattan that is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager / Interior Architect on a contract basis.

This is a small, highly collaborative team delivering thoughtful commercial interiors projects across multiple sectors. The studio operates at a fast pace, with lean teams and real ownership at every level. Designers here are trusted to lead, communicate clearly, and drive projects forward with confidence.

You will step into live work immediately, managing projects from design development through construction, coordinating consultants, interfacing directly with clients, and ensuring documentation is delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 1–2 commercial interiors projects simultaneously
• Lead consultant coordination across technical disciplines
• Oversee SD/DD/CD documentation and technical detailing in Revit
• Present to clients and manage day-to-day communication
• Support permitting processes and construction administration

Key Skills / Requirements:

• 5–8 years of professional experience within architecture or interior architecture
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, including documentation and family creation
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects through DD/CD/CA phases
• Strong understanding of NYC codes and permitting processes
• Clear, confident communicator with client-facing experience
