Project Manager (Luxury Residential + Hospitality)

About the Role:

Our client is a Southern California architecture and interiors studio known for creating thoughtful, contemporary work that blends design integrity with a strong sense of place. Their portfolio includes residential, boutique hospitality, and adaptive reuse projects, with exciting new commissions underway across the West Coast.

They are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This role suits someone proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about seeing great design built. You will work closely with senior leadership, managing multiple projects, leading teams, and ensuring each design vision is carried through to completion.

This is a boutique, design-led studio that values collaboration, creativity, and a good sense of humor. The team works hard, enjoys what they do, and believes great design comes from open communication and shared ideas. They take their work seriously but not themselves, creating an environment that’s supportive, hands-on, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of.

The studio offers competitive salaries, full benefits, a 401(k) with match, and ongoing professional development, including licensure support and mentorship. It’s a place where design excellence, balance, and laughter all have a place at the table.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects from design development through construction administration
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and contracts to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Lead technical documentation, detailing, and design execution with precision
  • Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration within the studio
  • Represent the firm in meetings and presentations with confidence and clarity
  • Support business operations, including proposals, invoicing, and project planning

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Architecture; licensure preferred but not essential
  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end commercial projects
  • Solid understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and permitting processes
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  • Confident managing client relationships and project delivery
