Proposals Manager (Architecture)

The Crowd is excited to be partnering with an internationally renowned architecture and design practice known for delivering ambitious, culturally significant projects across the globe. With a collaborative and design-driven studio environment, this award-winning firm is looking to add a Proposals Manager to its New York team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and relationship-focused professional with experience managing proposals, RFPs, and pursuit submissions within the architecture, design, or built environment industry. Working closely with project teams and international leadership, you will take ownership of the firm’s proposal process while helping coordinate strategic pursuits, maintain high-quality submissions, and keep internal teams aligned throughout each deadline. Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills are essential, along with the confidence to guide teams and build relationships across the studio. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and coordination of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and other pursuit materials from kick-off through final submission
- Collaborate with project teams, leadership, and technical staff to gather content, develop submission strategies, and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage multiple pursuits simultaneously while maintaining proposal schedules, coordinating internal resources, and keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the process
- Support business development initiatives by researching opportunities, tracking prospective work, and helping maintain a healthy pipeline of pursuits
- Contribute to the ongoing development of proposal templates, marketing collateral, and best practices to improve the efficiency and quality of submissions
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Previous experience managing proposals, bids, or pursuit submissions within an architecture, engineering, construction, or design-related environment
- Strong understanding of the RFP/RFQ process with exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and keep projects moving forward
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience producing polished, client-facing proposal documents
- A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced studio environment
