Recruitment Specialist (Architecture)

About The Role:

The Crowd is looking for a Recruitment Specialist (Architecture) to join our collaborative and welcoming team in New York.

We are a successful staffing agency that have carved a name for ourselves, recruiting within architecture, design and the creative industry. Originating in London, we work with leading industry names across the US, Europe and UK, and we are now on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our growing US team.

This position will work closely with our current team to develop the brand further in the US market and will be a valued and integral part of the wider group. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow as a recruitment specialist in the design industry, whilst making a sincere contribution to a supportive team. You will have the scope to build and personalize the role with the help and with support from the wider group and will have the ability to make major contributions to the business.

This role could suit either an experienced recruitment consultant or someone with a background in architecture/design who is interested in the exciting realm of recruitment in architecture within NYC and wider US! Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our current clients in addition to bringing in new contacts/clients, developing our candidate pool, building a presence within the industry
  • Manage the full recruitment process from interview to offer, including sourcing candidates, interviewing, through to post placement care and beyond
  • Sourcing and interviewing candidates
  • Offering CV, interview and general career advice to candidates
  • Writing job adverts
  • Negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients
  • Identifying and developing client/business relationship, including short-term and long-term business development
  • Negotiating terms of business with clients
  • Providing a consultative and collaborative all-round service
  • Attending client meetings and industry events where required
  • Logging information on the internal CRM and keeping the database up to date at all times
  • Maintain an active LinkedIn presence
  • Act as a brand ambassador for The Crowd at all times

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the architecture world
  • Previous sales or recruitment experience (advantageous)
  • Confident, friendly, and collaborative in your approach
  • Service driven
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Driven, organised and motivated with a ‘can do’, positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
  • You’ll be a team player who champions both the brand and your colleagues, taking pride and a genuine interest in the work you do
