Junior Project Admin

The Role:

A leading and ambitious sustainable furniture brand are looking for a Junior Project Admin to join their forward-thinking and progressive team. In this role you’d provide support to the project management team, managing quotations and ensuring customer fulfilment and installations are met to the highest standard.

Although previous experience in this position is preferred, it is not a necessity as training will be given. Our client is looking for someone with drive, passion, and motivation. Someone who will work collaboratively with a flexible and hands-on approach. You will have a strong communication and presentation style and have an appreciation for design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure orders are fulfilled seamlessly
  • Work with the sales team to produce and send quotes promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure all new enquires are dealt with
  • Raising supplier POs and customer orders, and working with the finance team to ensure orders are dispatched and are sent into production without any delays
  • Managing supplier confirmations and POs ensuring no discrepancies
  • Managing the order book daily to ensure the fulfilment position is accurately reflected for the day
  • Keeping clients informed on order progress and managing any delays
  • Attend site installations where there is a larger project to ensure teams are following client and supplier directions
  • Attend meetings on-site when and where necessary
  • Resolve any after-care issues
  • Work with the client to present new ideas to them
  • Create and maintain project manuals and identify any areas of improvement and bring forward ideas

Key Skills:

  • A genuine passion and appreciation for design
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • High level of numeracy and excellent written and spoken English
  • IT proficient and a confident user of MS Office
  • Hands-on, positive with a can-do attitude and can work well under pressure
