Senior Architect

About the Role:

An award-winning, design-focused practice with studios in NYC and Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their close-knit team. This is a rare Partnership Track opportunity for someone ready to take on a pivotal role within a highly respected firm known for its meticulously crafted, high-end private and cultural projects.

Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll lead bespoke projects from concept through completion, collaborating with discerning clients and overseeing a talented internal team. The studio values design excellence, thoughtful detailing, and a hands-on approach at every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, high-end architectural projects from design through construction
  • Act as a client liaison, building trusted relationships with design-savvy stakeholders
  • Oversee and mentor a small internal team, fostering a collaborative studio culture
  • Contribute to design reviews, technical development, detailing, and project coordination
  • Manage consultants and ensure timely project delivery to the highest standards
  • Play an active role in studio leadership with a clear pathway to partnership

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Licensed Architect (required)
  • 20+ years of professional experience, ideally with a mix of custom residential or cultural projects
  • Proven ability to run high-value, complex projects
  • Strong detailing, documentation, and construction administration skills
  • Comfortable leading small teams and mentoring
