About The Role:

A highly respected, award-winning architecture and interiors studio based in New York is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Interior Architect to join its interiors practice. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a collaborative, design-driven environment known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality commercial and hospitality interiors.

The ideal candidate is a confident design professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for leading projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping interior environments across a range of commercial and hospitality projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial and hospitality interior projects through all phases, from early design studies through construction administration
• Take a hands-on leadership role in project management, coordination, and production
• Develop and refine design concepts that balance creativity, functionality, and technical excellence
• Produce and oversee high-quality construction documentation, with a strong emphasis on Revit workflows
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and client teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain design intent while managing schedules, deliverables, and project complexity
• Ensure Revit models are accurate, efficient, and aligned with studio standards and best practices
• Apply a strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and interior systems
• Navigate applicable local building codes and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to a collaborative studio culture through clear communication and mentorship

Key Skills / Requirements:

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution
• 8+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in the U.S.
• Proven experience delivering commercial and hospitality interior projects of varying scale
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate consultants and manage complex construction documentation sets
• Strong design sensibility paired with technical rigor and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
