Senior Hospitality Interior Designer

The Role:

This boutique interior design studio is celebrated for their award-winning, high-end hospitality spaces that can be stepped into across the globe. Designers here are explorative and curious in nature and have the chance to develop an incredible portfolio of work. They are looking for a strong Senior Interior Designer to lead hospitality projects and work closely with management, the client, and design teams across the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to post-construction across the luxury hospitality space
• Lead client meetings and interactions
• Be inclusive in your approach with your design team
• Define and delegate design tasks in coordination with project managers
• Be a liaison between upper management and design teams
• Review and redline design and documentation at every phase
• Lead site meetings and communication with subs
• Coordinate project needs, budgets and schedules with project managers

Key Skills:

• A degree in interior design, architecture or interior architecture
• Significant experience running a variety of luxury hospitality projects including hotels, restaurants, bars and similar
• A portfolio of multiple completed hospitality projects
• Experience leading teams of designers at varying levels of seniority
• Excellent technical knowledge of FF&E and millwork fabrication and documentation
• Strong presentation and verbal communication skills further developed through time spent with clients
• Strong knowledge of CAD, Adobe CS and SketchUp
• A standard of design excellence
