Senior Interior Designer

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, adeptly conveying design concepts, and ensuring the ultimate products adhere to client expectations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and assist through the full scope of projects from SD through CA
  • Lead the project team proficiently, fostering collaboration among internal disciplines such as  interiors, and art, as well as with consultants and contractors.
  • Prepare design specifications including FF&E, space planning, lighting, and plan layouts
  • Create initial design sketches utilizing CAD software
  • Create 3D visualizations illustrating the planned floor plan layout, elevation outlines, and the building’s facade.
  • Construct client presentation templates based on meeting agenda.
  • Create a project schedule and provide budget evaluations for design and construction expenditures
  • Lead and manage a team of Junior and Intermediate Designers

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of related experience in interior design with strong documentation skillset
  • Professional degree in interior design
  • Displays a robust blend of technical expertise and conceptual design initiatives.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp; Adobe, InDesign, Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam
  • Robust interpersonal skills
  • Confident mentoring junior designers and participating harmoniously in projects alongside senior designers
