About The Role:

Our client, a prestigious and highly regarded multidisciplinary design consultancy with an established presence across the Middle East, is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join their Kuwait studio. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in shaping workplace, hospitality, and retail environments across the region, contributing to innovative, functional, and user-centric interior spaces.

This is a senior-level position within one of the top practices in the region, where you will collaborate with inspiring leaders and a diverse multidisciplinary team. Our client is looking for a designer with strong conceptual abilities and who can craft compelling narratives through design, elevate creative output, and confidently guide project delivery from inception to completion. The Senior Interior Designer will play a vital part in championing design excellence, mentoring junior talent, and driving high-quality outcomes across major projects in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a creative design lead, contributing to concept development, design direction, and delivery across key projects.
• Produce high-quality design work across all stages, ensuring innovation, user experience, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.
• Mentor, support, and guide junior designers, helping elevate the overall creative output of the team.
• Deliver cohesive design solutions through space planning, conceptual design, development, detailing, and FF&E coordination.
• Build strong client relationships and confidently present design concepts and project updates.
• Review contractor and manufacturer shop drawings and support project teams with site coordination.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
• Advocate for workplace trends, sustainability principles, and the implementation of LEED/WELL-aligned design strategies.

Key Skills/ Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial interiors, ideally across workplace, hospitality, or retail projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking, technical capability, and user-focused solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, Lumion, V-Ray, Grasshopper, SketchUp, and InDesign.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to and mentoring a collaborative team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Desirable but not essential: Experience in the Middle East; LEED AP / WELL / IIDA / RIBA / AIA certifications; Arabic language skills.
