Senior Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect
About The Role:
The Crowd is working with a well-regarded, design-led landscape architecture practice looking to add a talented Senior Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect to its Dallas studio.
This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious designer ready to take the next step toward studio leadership. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll help shape the studio’s design direction, lead projects and build client relationships, with excellent long-term career progression.
The practice works across a diverse portfolio of landscape, public realm and mixed-use projects throughout Texas, with the platform and ambition to take on larger and higher-profile work. They’re looking for someone who brings strong ideas to the table but equally enjoys seeing them through from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects from concept through implementation
- Develop strong design ideas and carry the original vision through each project stage
- Build relationships with clients, consultants and collaborators while supporting business development and new project opportunities
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, contributing to a hands-on and highly engaged studio culture
- Work closely with senior leadership to help shape design strategy, project opportunities and the continued growth of the studio
Key Skills / Requirements
- Approximately 8 to 12+ years of professional landscape architecture/design experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
- Strong design sensibility supported by a high-quality portfolio of built and/or realized work
- Experience leading projects and confidently communicating design ideas to clients and project teams
- Commercial awareness with an interest in business development, relationship building and progressing into a broader leadership role
- Collaborative, proactive and low ego, with a willingness to stay hands-on and contribute wherever needed. Texas experience is advantageous but not essential
