Senior Net Zero Sustainability Consultant

The Role:

A large, prestigious and in-demand design company with a global presence are currently looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant with a focus on net zero to join their sustainability team at their London office.

The ideal candidate will have a background in MEP and have a passion for design solutions that focus on reducing carbon emissions. You will have the opportunity to work with a strong and likeminded team and offer expertise to clients to strategize against decarbonisation across their multi-sector portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Closely analyse energy and carbon data for buildings and portfolios
• Conduct energy audits and identify reduction strategies
• Keep informed on global net zero carbon policies
• Develop net zero carbon roadmaps for clients
• Deliver clear technical reports and analysis through infographics and charts
• Expand strategic carbon consultancy services
• Successfully lead and deliver projects that are in alignment with the client’s needs
• Mentor junior team members in net zero initiatives

Key Skills:

• Hold a degree in building services, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Familiar with industry net zero carbon frameworks
• Chartered or working towards chartered status
• Proficient in data validation and analysis using Excel
• Skilled in conducting energy audits and developing energy performance calculations
• Track record of managing building performance and net zero carbon projects
• Skilled in presenting key findings visually
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Effective and adaptable communication skills
