Senior Project Manager

The Role:

We are working with an exciting and leading retail design studio in London who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will work alongside some of the world’s leading brand names and ensure that top-class service, quality and efficiency are delivered on their high-profile projects. 

This position is an integral, client-facing role. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver with a professional and commercial mindset and the confidence to communicate and articulate well at all levels.

This is a hybrid position where you will be based in the studio 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To fully understand the client’s business, their needs and the market in which they operate.
  • Identify critical stakeholders and understand the structure of your client’s organisation.
  • To fully understand and research client projects, briefs, goals and aspirations.
  • Work closely with the client and design team to ensure the desired outcome is achieved, dealing with any issues, questions, changes etc. that may occur on the project journey
  • Manage client expectations and deliverables
  • Prepare and issue agendas, reports and updates. 
  • Ensure the internal teams fully understand the client’s brief and project requirements, including timescales and budgets etc
  • Ensure all the relevant technical information is received relating to projects
  • Assess the client’s expectations and communicate the full scope of the project
  • Manage the schedules of the projects communicating to all stakeholders involved
  • Support the team and ensure all projects are thoroughly resourced
  • Support in the clients’ meetings organisation, reviews, audits, workshops and other relevant events
  • Manage the budgets and flag any discrepancies while negotiating any additional fees
  • Support the team with invoicing, purchase orders and revenue projections

Key Skills:

  • Proven project management experience 
  • Numerical and commercially aware with a keen eye for details
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Proactive with the ability to prioritise and adapt 
  • Experience in liaising and building professional relationships with clients
  • Genuine enthusiasm and calm under pressure
  • A strong passion and eye for design
