Senior Project Architect (Healthcare)

The Role:

A large multidisciplinary, global design practice known for their integrated approach to design and exceptional working culture is seeking a Senior Project Architect for a unique role within their healthcare team.

This is an amazing opportunity to be at the forefront of a ground-breaking scheme within UK healthcare. The role will involve leading and collaborating across the board, mentoring others, liaising and building relationships with clients and other third parties to ensure project deliverables are achieved to the highest standards. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in addition to budget management and the financial performance of the project.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Managing project budgets, ensuring profitability without compromising quality, forecasting and preparing fee estimates
• Leading the planning process and liaising with relevant authorities and other external parties
• Leading, coaching and developing the team
• Project resourcing and planning
• Prepare project updates and reporting
• Communicating and building relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Build and maintain client relationships and communication
• Project planning including program management
• Risk management, H&S and compliance
• Contract management – subcontractors and other external stakeholders

Key Skills:

• Registered ARB Architect
• 10-15 years leading public projects
• Experience working on healthcare projects is a must
• Experience in a project management role
• A solid understanding of project budgets, project financials and resourcing
• Able to lead and mentor a team confidently
• A keen relationship builder and able to communicate well at all levels
• Collaborative by nature
