Senior Project Manager (Workplace Design)

A renowned architecture and interior design firm based in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their highly collaborative and design-focused team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and management of high-end residential projects from concept through completion
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships, clear communication, and alignment throughout the design and construction process
- Remain actively involved in the design process, collaborating closely with senior leadership and design teams to uphold the creative integrity of each project
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow, technical precision, and successful project execution
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, documentation, and deliverables while guiding teams through each project phase
- Review and refine design details, drawing sets, and construction documentation with a meticulous eye for quality and consistence
- Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to a positive, knowledge-sharing studio culture
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 8–12 years of professional experience in architecture or interior architecture, with a strong emphasis on workplace projects is required
- Demonstrated experience leading design-focused projects through all phases, from early concept to construction administration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and navigate complex coordination with consultants and vendors
- Strong technical knowledge in custom detailing, millwork, finishes, and high-end residential systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp; experience with Revit and other 3D modeling/rendering tools is a plus
- Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability, creative problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
