Senior Urban Designer (UK Projects)

About The Role:

Our client, a design-led architectural practice, is looking for a Senior Urban Designer to join their friendly, sustainability-focused team, working on a range of exciting urban projects across London.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior team members on urban masterplanning and town regeneration projects, as well as contributing to the creation of new communities and strategic frameworks. You will play a key part in leading and delivering context-led design solutions, supported by the wider practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Directors across a variety of projects, from large-scale urban schemes to the design of new communities
• Help shape considered, high-quality design outcomes that reflect the studio’s values around sustainability and collaborative working
• Maintain strong project momentum through clear, effective communication with both internal teams and external consultants and stakeholders
• Prepare drawings, visual material, and presentations for projects of different sizes.
• Support the delivery of well-resolved design proposals that demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility and team-led design

Key Skills / Requirements:

• A master’s degree in architecture, landscape or urban design is required for this role
• A minimum of 5 years+ experience within professional practice
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe is highly beneficial to this role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working on UK and/ or London projects would be a plus
