Studio Administrator

About The Role:

A highly sought after design practice known for their multi-award-winning projects and their people-focused approach is looking for a dynamic and highly organised Studio Administrator to play a key role within their social and welcoming studio in London.

As the Studio Administrator your key responsibilities will be managing HR systems and processes, studio operations, handling reception duties and ensure the smooth overall running of the studio. Your role will involve maintaining and updating HR systems, supporting the recruitment process, and assisting with onboarding and new starter inductions. You will also track holidays and absences, manage other HR-related documentation, coordinating employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing activities. You will be the go-to person in this versatile and exciting position where no two days are the same, and therefore a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude is essential to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide HR, administrative and operation support to the wider team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Provide support with recruitment, on boarding and employee related admin
  • Assist with staff appraisals and performance reviews
  • Organise staff training events
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety
  • Oversee studio facilities management to ensure a well-functioning workspace
  • Provide occasional reception cover as needed

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role ideally within architecture/design/built environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is desirable but not essential
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong working relationships
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in architecture and design
